I promise that even though it has been quiet around here there has been a lot happening behind the scenes! Here are just some of the newbies featuring in the Wink shop lately – I’m loving bright colours and classic neutrals at the moment! As always feel free to message me with custom requests.
Oh my lord! I am super excited about this news and cannot wait to share with you guys. The amazing Kat from Rock n Roll Bride and of course Rock n Roll Bride Magazine has included a Wink DIY in the latest magazine! 5 minute cake topper ideas are a great way to get creative but in a short space of time because we all know how busy brides to be are! I can’t wait to show you more from this Dream Come True!
A huge thanks as well to my right hand girl Natalie Morgan Photography for the photos of my DIY.
If you are in need of a little DIY gift wrapping ideas I have a few suggestions for you from the archives of Wink.
1. Washi Tape
It is super easy to jazz up any present with a tag and a little washi tape. I am obsessed and have way too many rolls but you can never have enough colour! In New Zealand you can buy it here and here.
2. Hand Lettering
3. Stamp it
Making a mini stamp from something around the house can produce some amazing (and professional looking) results. You can use this to decorate paper, bags, boxes or even cards. Have a look here for some ideas.
4. Box it
Boxes are a great way to package little bits and pieces up and you don’t need any wrapping paper. Accessories can be as diverse as ribbon, a chalkboard tag or some florals. Have a look for cute boxes here and here.
I spent the weekend soaking up the inspirational magic of The Blogcademy Auckland and I feel so lucky! Being surrounded by all this excitement, energy and action was super inspiring and I do feel like anything is possible for me moving forward. I have a lot more to share including all the Wink styling of the event and what I took away from the workshop which will come in the next week or so if Christmas orders don’t slow me down too much.
In the meantime here are a couple of my Instagram snaps from the weekend to get you inspired too!
I am super excited and thrilled to share this with you today! Jel Photography and I have a similar love for all things neon, bright, pink and fun so it seemed natural for us to team up in this Neon inspired fun shoot. Our model Meg was amazing and we had a great time using all the props that I made for this shoot. Enjoy and I hope it makes you smile!
